current work on intangible/tangible cultral heritage....http://www.bcu.ac.uk/news/releases07/4411.html
Two MA Visual Communication students from The University of Central England in Birmingham have been selected to represent Britain at a programme centred on Promotion of the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, at Joshibi University of Art and Design, Kanagawa, Japan.
The Convention, together with UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) aims to educate people as to what intangible cultural heritage is and why it should be protected. Although there is a good understanding of cultural and natural heritage, with tourists visiting well known sites throughout the world, intangible cultural heritage is difficult to express and understand.
